Getting your home ready for an inspection

• Ensure all utilities are on

• Trim vegetation away from siding, roofing and any outdoor utilities

• Clean gutters and divert downspouts 5ft from the foundation

• Clear debris or furniture away from indoor utilities

• Replace HVAC filters

• Replace burnt out lightbulbs / dead smoke detector batteries

• Take a deep breath!

Preparing for your home inspection

• Review and sign the pre-inspection agreement

• Make a list of any questions you may initially have about the property to be addressed onsite, during the time of the inspection
